We did a visit to a township called Imizana Yethu, a left over from the apartheid regime that ended in the early 1990’s, where blacks were segregated living in crowded housing. There are some improvements like running water, electricity and the possibility of home ownership but still many live in substandard homes, a stark contrast to the modern and luxurious living of many in the city. Terrible that the colour of your skin determines your stature. Things are changing but slowly.
